We understand that our customers and members of the communities we serve are concerned about reliable and safe energy, and we recognize that the series of severe storms this summer, paired with the resulting power outages, have created frustration and hardships for our customers. We are committed to improving electric reliability and have started to accelerate infrastructure work across Southeast Michigan including in the Rochester area.
After a recent review of reliability in the Rochester area, the community experienced outages due to electrical equipment issues heightened by the back-to-back storms that hit Michigan this summer. Here is a look at some of the projects we are currently working on or recently completed in your community.
