Anyone who has been lucky enough to attend a concert at Meadow Brook Amphitheater in Rochester Hills knows what a great venue it is to watch a show. Of course, reliable power is a necessity for those shows. That’s why crews were working at the amphitheater last week to replace a failed transformer.

Tree trimmers first cleared the surrounding area so that the overhead crews could perform their work safely and efficiently. Once cleared, the crew replaced all three transformers to ensure stronger reliability. The amphitheater is just one of many locations, both residential and business, that will receive a boost in power reliability in part of our proactive tree trim and equipment maintenance.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
