Hello Livonia residents! Good news! Our team worked with tree trimmers to make the grid in your city more reliable and safe. A significant amount of branches were cut from overgrown trees in a neighborhood off Lyndon Dr. close to Madonna University. Since 70 percent of downtime hours during an outage is due to damage caused by trees, this accelerated tree trimming work should result in greater power reliability for area residents.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.

Make sure to regularly check the Livonia community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
