DTE overhead crews were in Rose Township this week replacing an old utility pole with an upgraded new transformer pole. This job was done on E. Rattalee Lake Rd. just west of the train tracks near Stallion Ln. In addition to installing the new transformer and replacing the old, weathered pole with a sturdier, taller one, our team also upgraded the cabling, connectors and crossarms. These improvements will provide better reliability for the customers in this neighborhood as well as provide power to an upcoming project to make the railroad crossing safer for commuters.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.

Make sure to regularly check the Rose Highland community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
