You may have noticed DTE crews replacing an old utility pole on Normandy Rd and N Verona Circle. The pole was leaning and heavily weathered, deeming it to be a candidate for replacement. You can see in the photo above how the old pole compares to the new pole in terms of stance and stability. The crew will transfer the old pole’s wires to the new pole and remove the old pole. This update should help keep power flowing reliably in this Royal Oak neighborhood for years to come.
