Tree trimming is not only healthy for the trees, but it also helps ensure DTE can safely and reliably deliver power to customers in the area. There is a certain standard that has to be met when trimming trees. Any branch that is interfering with lines today, or may in the near future, needs to be trimmed. Our workers try their best to keep trees looking presentable. They have no control over how much or little needs trimming. Their main priority is to work safely and efficiently to make sure trees in your area coexist well with our power lines, so you continue to have the power you need, when you need it.
