This past week, one of our overhead crews responded to a customer inquiry in Highland Township about a slanted utility pole. When the crew arrived at the job site, they saw a leaning pole that needed to be replaced on Highland Park Drive.
The old pole had already caused some damage to a nearby home due to it getting tangled up in and tugging on power lines. The crew installed and anchored in a new pole to prevent it from having the same leaning problem in the future. Luckily, the crew was able to make this repair without any nearby residents having to lose power.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
