The electric system in Livonia had more work done this week. This time, DTE contract crews worked on Yale Street just south of Five Mile, upgrading the equipment on a power mainline that runs along Yale. Work like this serves to strengthen the system so the next time inclement weather comes, your power will be more reliable.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
