Our overhead crews were in White Lake this week improving the grid for customers. One of those jobs was at the corner of Haley and Porter near Brendel Lake. Our team returned to a previously set cable pole to finish the upgrade with a new transformer, connectors and cabling. This work improves power reliability for dozens of homes in the nearby area. Reliability work like this continues to happen throughout Oakland County and our service territory as part of DTE’s annual $1.3 billion investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
