DTE cable splicers and pullers worked together on Cass Avenue and West Alexandrine Street to complete an underground system improvement project. The crews had previously installed a new upgraded cable and now returned to the work site to eliminate older pieces of cable. The new cable will allow DTE to serve more customers with higher quality equipment, improving reliability for the community.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
