A DTE overhead crew worked with the tree trimmers to upgrade equipment on an existing main utility pole in White Lake. The work, which occurred at the intersection of Elizabeth Lake Rd. and Oxbow Lake Rd., involved an arborist removing overgrown branches from the mainlines and an overhead crew installing new cabling and stronger, fiberglass crossarms. These improvements strengthened the utility pole and will ensure the pole is able to withstand severe weather conditions.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
