DTE crews worked to set up service for a building between Inkster and W Eight Mile Roads, which had not been receiving power. Our overhead team installed a new service for the building with the help of electricians and our Electrical Field Operations (EFO) department. Before overhead could work, the electrician and EFO worked on the inside of the building installing an electrical meter. Once the meter was installed workers could then tap the service and provide power to the building. DTE helps power the businesses you frequently visit on a daily basis.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
