DTE crews replaced a damaged utility pole in Bloomfield Township this week with a sturdier, taller one, along with upgraded equipment. The upgraded equipment included new cabling, connectors and fiberglass cross arms. This work was done on Hillboro Dr. just south of W. Maple. These upgrades will improve reliability not only for customers in this neighborhood but for the larger circuit that services Bloomfield Township and neighboring Bloomfield Hills.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
