Livonia customers will be pleased to know our crews have been in their area recently improving the underground electric system. This job was done near the Eddie Edgar Ice Arena at the corner of Lyndon and Stark. Our team upgraded and rerouted a main service cable that provides power to customers in the nearby area. Pictured below is some of the old, weathered cable that our team safely removed while making the improvements.
Reliability work like this is happening now throughout Wayne County and our wider service territory as part of DTE’s $1.3 billion annual investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
