Good news, Midtown Detroiters: DTE crews recently worked in your area to ensure optimal working conditions for a circuit along East Canfield and Saint Antoine Streets. This circuit acts as a crucial source of back-up power for nearby homes, hospitals and businesses. Our team discovered a fault in that system and safely replaced the weak section of the circuit. This newly installed equipment is another important step to improving energy reliability for the Detroit community.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
Make sure to regularly check the Detroit – District 6 community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
