DTE crews were recently out in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood making upgrades to the electric grid. Our team worked in a manhole near Vermont and Porter streets to transfer a local building’s power source from one circuit to another. This balances out our system’s power load distribution, as the original circuit was at risk of being overloaded. Our team’s hard work helped ensure that nearby homes and businesses continue to receive optimal service reliability.

Make sure to regularly check the Detroit – District 6 community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
