DTE tree trim crews continue to make reliability improvements throughout the Saline and Ann Arbor communities. These specific jobs pictured below were near the corner of S. Ann Arbor St. and W. Willis Rd. as arborists continue to remove overgrown branches off mainlines to give the proper clearance. This work will improve reliability for thousands of customers that live in these areas the next time extreme weather arrives.
50% of the time our customers spend without power is due to trees and branches coming in contact with our equipment. This data and the historically stormy summer of 2021 is why DTE made a $90 million investment to accelerate tree trimming efforts across the communities we serve.
