Tree trim crews were at work this week along the Troy and Bloomfield Township border, improving reliability for customers from both communities. The job pictured below shows our team working safely to remove overgrown branches off the main power lines that run east and west along Tewksbury Drive and across North Adams Road. Several other crews were also working in this vicinity, and customers from both these great cities will be happy to learn the grid in their area was improved this week. This work is part of DTE’s $90 million tree trimming investment to improve the reliability of the power across Southeast Michigan.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.

Make sure to regularly check the Bloomfield Hills community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
