DTE crews worked this week near the border of Lyon and Salem Township installing two utility pole upgrades. These poles replaced old, weathered ones and were equipped with new cabling, connectors, fiberglass crossarms and an upgraded transformer. This work was near the corner of Chubb and Eight Mile and will benefit reliability for customers from both communities along this mainline.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
