Our commitment to improving our grid’s reliability is of the utmost importance. Recently, our crews were completing customer excellence work in Sterling Heights. They replaced an older pole and its equipment. This new, treated pole got a complete makeover from crossarms to cutouts and a larger transformer which will all assist in delivering more reliable energy. This project is just one part of customer excellence work happening in the area. It ensures that we will continue to provide safe and more reliable energy to our DTE communities.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming, maintenance, and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability in the short and long term.
