DTE contract crews were back out working in Livonia recently to improve reliability for customers. This job was replacing an old, weathered utility pole and upgrading its equipment near Blue Skies and Howell Streets. The upgrades consisted of fiberglass cross arms (a stronger and longer lasting option over the old, wooden cross arms), cabling, fuses and connectors.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
