We have good news for customers in Bloomfield Township. DTE crews were working in your community again this week to improve the reliability of your power, and this time it was near Wing Lake. Our team replaced an old, weathered pole with a much stronger, taller one on Dakota Circle just east of Franklin. While replacing the pole, we took the opportunity to upgrade the cross arms (from wooden to fiberglass), connectors, fuses, cabling as well as installing a new transformer. This work is part of our continued efforts to strengthen our infrastructure and will directly improve reliability for hundreds of customers in this area.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
