Customers in Highland Township will be happy to know our overhead crews put in a new cable pole in their area this week. Cable poles are vital pieces of our infrastructure as they combine both overhead and underground systems (you can read more about cable poles here). This work was done on Towhee Circle just north of M-59. This pole, complete with all new cables, connectors and fuses, will also feed into homes on nearby Susan Drive. This week’s work by DTE crews will strengthen the grid in this community and improve reliability for Highland customers.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
