Balancing your carbon footprint is easier than you might think with Natural Gas Balance, and enrolling this month gets you a bonus for your community.

Natural Gas Balance gives you the chance to balance up to100% of an average home’s emissions from everyday natural gas usage when you enroll in the program. Your contributions help protect forests across 13 counties in the Upper Peninsula and fund the advancement of renewable natural gas in Michigan.

Hundreds of your neighbors across Muskegon County are already enrolled. If an additional 80 customers enroll in Natural Gas Balance by April 30, DTE will plant 10 six-foot trees in Pioneer Park as a celebration of residents’ commitment to sustainability. This will add to the existing 20 trees we have planted throughout Muskegon over the past few years.

By enrolling this month, not only will you balance your carbon emissions, but you’ll help to beautify your community. It’s a win-win!

The key to unlocking new trees in Muskegon County is enrolling in Natural Gas Balance by April 30. Enroll on our website or by calling 833.628.4270 today to start balancing your carbon footprint and planting trees!
