Our system alerted us of a possible issue on one of our circuits in Harper Woods. When this happens, it doesn’t always mean that our customers are out of power; it could instead suggest a range of issues on the circuit.
Our crew immediately went out and patrolled the neighborhood to make sure there were no downed wires or potential public safety hazards.
They ended up finding and fixing several pieces of equipment in need of upgrades. Fortunately, no wires were on the ground, so our customers weren’t in any danger.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
