“Bounce” is Beacon Park’s newest temporary art installation by the New York City-based, award-winning design studio Hou de Sousa. It will be on view from June 4 – September 13. It is free and open to the public during open park hours, daily from 6 am to 10 pm.
“Bounce” is a celebration of collective perseverance that links together thousands of individual parts and components into a unified gesture of positive change. Colorful parachute cord and piano wire combine to create unique triangle shapes that during daylight hours cast shimmering shadows. The piece transforms at night, under the glow of ultraviolet light, into a surreal beacon and iridescent burst of color.
