Bounce by Hou De Sousa with Akropolis – Opening Reception

Celebrate the opening of Beacon Park’s newest temporary art installation titled “Bounce” by New York City based, award-winning design studio Hou de Sousa with a live-musical performance by the talented, multi-faceted reed quintet Akropolis Reed Quintet.
This collaborative evening of light and music begins at 6 p.m. with an art reception and remarks by Hou de Sousa. Akropolis will perform their work Ghost Light, in partnership with poets and additional musicians, beginning at 7 p.m. This experience is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available for purchase at Lumen Detroit.
This opening reception and art installation are sponsored by the DTE Energy Beacon Park Foundation and programmed in partnership with the Downtown Detroit Partnership.
