DTE’s four-point plan to improve the grid includes investing in upgrades to our equipment, particularly in areas where our customers aren’t experiencing the level of reliability that we strive to provide. Recently, crews were in Dearborn replacing regulators, which are used to maintain a consistent voltage within a circuit and regulate its output to avoid potential surges.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming, maintenance, and infrastructure updates. All of these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability in both the short and long term.
There are several ways to keep up with the reliability work in your community and beyond. The Wayne County community page highlights reliability upgrades throughout the county, including Dearborn… You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for updates information across Southeast Michigan.
