More upgrades were installed this week in West Bloomfield. This time in the Woods of Orchard Lake neighborhood near the corner of Green Lake Road and Commerce. Our overhead crew replaced a weathered, utility pole with a much taller and stronger one. While doing so, our team upgraded the cross arms (from wood to fiberglass), connectors, fuses, and cabling. This work is expected to strengthen the system in this area to make your power more reliable.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
