DTE Foundation President Rodney Cole helped cut the ribbon to open the newest portion of the Iron Belle Trail in Van Buren Township. By using existing trails, networks and new connections, the 2,000-mile trail will connect the Upper Peninsula to Belle Isle in Detroit.
The DTE Foundation supported the construction of four miles of trail connecting Ypsilanti to Belleville, allowing visitors free access to enjoy its beauty.
