DTE Energy is committed to reducing power outages by 30% while cutting outage times in half by the end of 2029. As part of this work, we are rebuilding the electric equipment that delivers power along Chelsea-Dexter Road from the substation in Chelsea to the city of Dexter.
DTE crews will soon begin a $14 million project to install four miles of new electric equipment, like poles and power lines, and trim trees in your neighborhood.
Join community leaders and DTE team members at a virtual town hall meeting to learn about the project’s scope, timeline and benefits.
