DTE crews upgraded equipment on utility poles in Lyon Township this week. One pole was near the corner of Milford and Travis and about a half mile south at the corner of Milford and 12 Mile. Upgrades included new cabling, fuses, crossarms (wooden to fiberglass) with the main focus being on new cutouts. This time of work is designed to improve reliability for customers when the system experiences extreme weather.
