DTE crews dispatched crews in Ann Arbor this week to improve overhead equipment. This time the work was done at the corner of W. Michigan and Platt as our team replaced a utility pole at the street corner. You can see in the photo below how much straighter and sturdier the new pole is than its predecessor. Anytime we replace a pole like this, we take the opportunity to upgrade the connectors, cabling, fuses and crossarms while we’re at it. Work like this serves to strengthen the system so that your power is there when you need it most.
