DTE crews were out in Detroit west of Midtown, near Lincoln and Holden Streets, upgrading service for nearby businesses. As the city’s energy use evolves, DTE is working to stay ahead of the consumption curve. Our team installed a variety of new equipment including a cable pole, utility pole, transformer and cable. This update gives local businesses a greater power load to pull from, helping keep energy flowing for present and future generations of Detroiters.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
Make sure to regularly check the Detroit – District 6 community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
