Overhead crews were out again in Westland this week working to upgrade a utility pole off Ford Road. The work was done in the Carillon Village subdivision near the corner of Ford and Hix across the street from Vision Lanes. Our team replaced a weathered pole with a stronger one. The new pole is complete with new connectors, fuses, cabling and fiberglass cross arms (an upgrade from wooden ones). Work like this strengthens reliability in the area, as upgraded equipment will better withstand extreme weather.
