There is a lot of work happening on Amrhein Rd. in Livonia with the construction of the new Amazon warehouse and work done at Hercules Drawn Steel. DTE crews were working earlier this week to relocate a utility pole so a new service drive could be added at the Hercules location. When this type of work happens, our team takes the opportunity to make improvements. Equipment upgrades that need to happen are installed, and most of the time (as with this job), a new and sturdier pole is put in rather than moving the older, weathered pole.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
