DTE crews were working across Oakland County this week improving the infrastructure of our system. One of those places was in Rose Township near Lake Braemer. Our crews replaced an old, weathered utility pole at the corner of Davisburg and Eagle. The new, much sturdier pole was installed with upgraded cross arms (fiberglass instead of wood), connectors, fuses and cabling.

Reliability work like this is happening now throughout Wayne County and our wider service territory as part of DTE’s $1.3 billion annual investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.

Make sure to regularly check the Rose Highland community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
