Overhead crews were upgrading equipment in a Rochester neighborhood this week. Our team replaced an old utility pole and upgraded the cross arms, cutouts and a transformer on Helen Avenue between Fairview and First, near Ascension Providence Hospital. These improvements will help strengthen the grid to increase reliability for the hundreds of customers in this neighborhood.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
