Our overhead crews were recently in Bloomfield Township improving reliability for customers. This work, done on West Hickory Grove near Franklin, will improve the grid for the many customers that live in this area. Our team replaced an old, weathered pole with a new pole, cross arms (from wooden to a more durable fiberglass), connectors and cabling. The new pole was also placed a few more feet away from a customer’s home to extend the primary lines away from the house.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
