Customers along M-59 in White Lake, near the border of Highland Township, will be happy to know DTE teams worked in their area to improve electric reliability. We had crews out making equipment upgrades on main lines like at the location pictured below near the corner of Highland and Sunset. These efforts will benefit customers in the surrounding area with a more reliable power system.

Reliability work like this is happening now throughout Oakland County and our service territory as part of DTE’s $1.3 billion annual investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All of these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.

Make sure to regularly check the Rose Highland community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
