DTE crews worked in Wayne County’s Highland Park recently to update the electric grid. Our team located a faulty cable, near Third Street and Manchester Parkway, and replaced it with a new one to energize nearby homes and businesses. This update improves both durability and reliability of that section of the grid, making it less likely to have issues in the future.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
