Local customers will be happy to know that our overheard crews were helping improve reliability in the Farmington community this week. This work was done near the corner of Orchard Lake Road and Grand River Avenue. Our team was there helping to briefly deenergize power lines so system upgrades could be done safely and efficiently. These efforts will benefit the customers in this area with a more reliable power system.
Reliability work like this is happening now throughout Oakland County and our service territory as part of DTE’s $1.3 billion annual investment to upgrade our electric infrastructure.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
Make sure to regularly check the Farmington community page to learn more about what’s going on in your neighborhood. You can also follow DTE on Facebook and Twitter for even more updates and information.
