DTE crews work hard to keep your power running but what helps keep DTE crews running? They rely on local restaurants to stay fueled and focused on improving reliability in your community. Our crews also support local businesses across our service territory.
One of our crews’ favorite spots to visit in Detroit is Rocco’s Italian Deli – a take-out and dining restaurant located in Midtown on Cass Avenue and Brainard Street. This lunch spot fulfills its mission of celebrating immigrants, and the cultural richness they offer, by serving an array of traditional Italian dishes.
Brad is a DTE journeyman cable splicer who has been fueling up at Rocco’s for five years now.
“I usually get the chicken parmesan sandwich or eggplant parmesan sandwich with extra sauce,” he said. “Their marinara sauce is what makes it so good.”
Our team says they visit Rocco’s with confidence, knowing they’ll receive the nourishment they need for a hard day’s work creating a brighter future for Detroiters.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for both the short and long term.
