You may have noticed DTE crews working next to Wayne State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences building near West Warren and Cass Avenues. As you can see in the photo above, our crews installed a new underground cable to help power that part of Midtown. This upgrade allows for greater electric capacity and enhances the durability of our underground system, improving our infrastructure’s ability to safely and reliably carry electric loads to Detroiters.
