Some customers in Utica who recently experienced flickering lights will not have that problem anymore. Our crews were working this week improving the service near the corner of Kenmore and West Utica. The power will be better distributed thanks to new transformer trainers. Trainers are brackets that carry load on the secondary side of the transformer. Thanks to this work, power will be more reliable for hundreds of customers in the area.

You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
