You may have noticed DTE crews working in Oak Park near Miller Street and Greenfield Road. Our team installed a new recloser to a utility pole. A recloser is equipment on a pole that detects and isolates any faults on the overhead system. This update helps our crews quickly locate the cause of electrical issues and more efficiently repair them, improving reliability for nearby residents.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short and long term.
