Even in cold temperatures our crews were out doing work in Westland. Overhead crews installed updated equipment for a new senior citizen building under construction near Mackenzie Drive and Farmington Road. Workers had to remove wiring and transformers to install the new equipment. An underground cable will eventually be installed to feed energy to the building once construction is done.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long term.
