A DTE crew responded to a report of a broken pole in Highland Township caused by the severe weather that hit the area late last week. The broken pole led to 64 power outages in the surrounding area of West Wardlow Road. The crew of five overhead team members worked for around two to three hours to safely and efficiently fix the damaged pole and restore power to all the impacted customers.

You may be seeing more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are being done to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
