Our crews worked in Inkster Township near Florence St. and Wellington Ave. A new station cable was installed to replace a deteriorating power cable with a new one. Before they could energize the new cable with electricity, crews had to test the system to make sure it was clear of any problems. A new cable is an important update to the system making sure your power is more reliable.
You may see more of our crews in the coming months as part of our accelerated electric reliability projects in your area, including more tree trimming and infrastructure updates. All these projects are underway to improve your service and reliability for the short- and long-term.
