DTE crews installed a new capacitor on a utility pole at the corner of Lehigh and S. Beech Daly in Inkster Township. A capacitor works like a giant battery. They draw a lot of energy, and instead of voltage dropping from circuits, they keep the voltage more consistent which results in more reliable power. Equipment updates help keep homes and businesses in your area energized with reliable power.
